This is a sweet spot for most TV buyers, where you will find great technology and good interfaces at relatively low prices.

5-Series Hall The best TV Below 500. You get a Quantum Dot display, an Android TV interface and Alexa compatibility. Also, the included voice remote makes it easy to search for your favorite content. It often falls at this price.

If you want something a little bigger than the TCL above, this model from Samsung is a solid option. I like that it has Alexa onboard, so you can set the timer and ask for the weather. (You can turn off Alexa if you don’t want to use it.)

Hisense may be a lesser known brand, but it actually makes some fantastic TVs. Take this U8G, for example. You get the quantum dot color, IMAX-enhanced certification, And Android TV built-in. Hisense’s ULED backlighting technology also provides excellent, even well-lit homes with plenty of brightness.

Sony’s 48-inch OLED offers stunning image quality, with the ink black color OLED rightfully famous. The only downside is that it doesn’t have the ability to play 4K video At 120 Hz, Which means you probably wouldn’t want to pair it with Sony’s Playstation 5 if you’re after the smoothest gameplay possible.

Looking for a huge screen to watch your favorite party or TV show? These are two good options.

It also has Sony’s great MotionFlow XR technology, which helps to visualize high-speed objects like players and balls while watching the game and all onscreen actions while gaming. It’s Samsung’s 4K flagship, and it’s an amazingly handsome TV.8/10, Wired recommends) Combining the mini LED backlighting company’s NeoQLED with quantum dot technology makes it the best screen we’ve ever seen in a bright room (and one of the best we’ve seen in a dark room).

If you have a dark room to watch it (or really any room), the C1 is the most beautiful TV I’ve seen this year (8/10, Wired recommends) It’s also amazing for gamers, thanks to HDMI 2.1 input and one. 120-Hz refresh rate Which provides ultra-smooth motion onscreen.
