Oddly enough, Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd are one of two upcoming shows centered on unethical psychiatrists who come to the car streaming service. This week, Apple announced a 10-episode order , A new series that will feature Jason Segel as a therapist who tells his patients exactly what they think. Ted Lasso Co-producer Bill Lawrence and star Brett Goldstein, who played Roy Kent in the popular comedy series, will co-write and produce the new show alongside Segel.
This is an interesting move for a company despite that , One of the newest players in the streaming space and is still building his lineup by seeing what works. As always, the company’s vision seems to be to runway established talents that they think people want to see.
