Apple has made a pretty intense commercial debut to pump up new ones Apple Watch Series 7 With LTE. I have to admit, when I first saw it, I was almost speechless, my face a little agave. The first thing I could think of a few seconds later was, “Well, it was very restless.”

It then features three calls, including bad music in the background, to contact emergency services using their Apple Watch in case of problems. One had a car accident, another hit the sea while paddle boarding, and a third broke their leg while on their farm.

Looks like these are real 911 calls, but we’ve contacted Apple to confirm. We haven’t heard back from the company at the time of publication, but we’ll make sure to update this article if anyone comes back to us.

The call is very intense. The person who was in the car accident told the operator that their car was flooded and they could not get out. At one point, the man says the water is “coming down my neck.” In another call, the man stuck in the paddle boarding said they “can’t find the wind anymore.” Meanwhile, the injured man on their farm tells the operator to “hurry up” because they are in a lot of pain.

I’m getting anxious right now, and this commercial is over a minute long. Apple expects this, I think, and chases.

“With their watch, Jason, Jim and Amanda were rescued within minutes,” Apple said at the end of the ad.

Ah, relief. But it was a stressful minute (actually, multiple minutes, since I’ve had to watch it many times to write this article).

If these calls are really real, I’m glad these poor people got the help they needed In fact, while they may not be real, they show a key feature of the Apple Watch in emergencies. Anyway, I was wondering: was there? Really Is there any other way to try to sell Series 7 with Cellular without trying to scare people to buy it? I mean, they could easily get to the same point and use phone calls without being all dark and evil. For example, they could change the music.

I say this as a proud Series 7 owner. Heck, I like the thing and its big screen. When I call 911 from my Apple Watch, a feature that has been on the devices for years, I don’t think it’s the first thing to do in an emergency, I’m glad there are ads like this that make me feel very useful.

But we are already living in a world full of anxiety and fear, and on top of that we don’t need any more promotional material in that vein. It’s really weird – and again, UnstableApple uses these passions to sell more Series 7 devices, including LTE, especially when it is not needed.
