Starting with the Zenfone 8, we’re looking at a palm-friendly body behind a matte aluminum mid-frame and curved frosted glass. Its footprint comes in at 148 x 68.5mm, with a width between the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Mini. The whole package weighs 5.96oz (169g) and is rated against dust plus water with IP65 and IP68 protection – the first for an ASS smartphone.

The Zenfone 8 packs plenty for its size, thanks to some engineering hacks using a two-tiered rational board attached to an interpozor connecting board. You’ll get a 12.0-inch 2,400 x 1,080 AMOLD screen with a powerful stereo with a 120Hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint reader, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor, 4,000 mAh battery and some 30W charging (30W charging) The stereo will get speakers even a 3.5mm headphone jack – both optimized by audio expert Dirac.

You can also get up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage and a 64MP main camera (Sony IMX686 sensor) with OIS (optical image stabilization), a 12MP ultra-wide camera (IMX363) and a 12MP punch. As for the larger Zenfone 8 Flip, it’s actually a slightly refreshed Zenfone 7 .. and I mean the Zenfone mean T, not as the Zenfone 7 Pro, the Zenfone 8 Flip is a new Snapdragon ৮৮৮ processor inherited from the lack of OIS on the main camera, with the new 25GB Storage options and new in-display fingerprint reader (as opposed to the old capacitive reader on the power button), the hardware is otherwise identical to its predecessor – even less weight than the dimensions

Here is the familiar-looking space sheet: 6.67-inch 2,400 x 1,080 AMOLED screen with 90hz refresh rate, 5,000mAh battery (with 30W charging), 8GB RAM, triple-camera flip module, stereo speakers, triple-microSD card Two nano SIM) and triple mix as before. For those who care, there’s still no 3.5mm headphone jack here, it’s a shame that there’s such a small Zenfone 8 given

The Zenfone 8 Flip shares the same main and ultra-wide camera as the Zenfone 8, but the former has an additional 8MP telephoto camera (Omnivision OV08A sensor) with 3x optical zoom. Regarding the durability of the flip module, ASUS claims that its lifetime has been cut from 200,000 flips to 300,000 flips, which translates to more than 5 years of use if you do 150 flips a day.

And if you want extra protection, you can choose a Rhinoheld Solidsuit case that provides a slide cover for the flip camera. This hard case lets you slide down the cover and turn on the camera instantly whenever the phone is on standby.

On the software side, ASSU Genui 8 (based on Android 11) adds some new camera features, such as automatic brackets (single click 3 shots with EVS), document mode (auto crop and PDF export option), customizable watermarks (using text) ) And emoji) and much more. The Zenfone 8 Flip adds a unique feature: self-descriptive object focus mode, which is great for show-and-tell vlogging.
