October 5, A citizen of Facebook named a former member of the misinformation group Frances Haugen testified before Congress. Its almost two years Facebook, Haugen said he has consistently seen the company prioritize growth over everything else, causing massive damage to its users and society. It has long ignored warnings from its own researchers about possible damage to the platform.
