If only I could find a solution like Logitech Litra Glow when I started buying the disadvantages to create my perfect office Lighting conditions. It took me a few years to land on my current setup for video chat and live streaming, and it was after some testing and error. And even still, it sometimes feels like a bit of an overkill to have a tripod set up open I’m just sitting at my desk, taking calls.

Part of Logitech for the Litra Glow Creator lineup, Which includes brands such as the Blue Microphone (which makes the very popular Yeti podcasting mic). However, Litra Glow is bound to be helpful beyond the creative type, as many of us continue to work from home (still? Forever?) And tired of looking like a troll.

I prefer Litra Glow because of the relatively small footprint. It’s neutral enough that you don’t need a dedicated tripod or area on your desk to support it. It can be mounted on any monitor like Logitech’s companion webcam. It’s only $ 60, including the tripod. Although you may find it a bit more expensive than some of the other options, Logitech managed to make YouTube-level lighting friendly and accessible.

Easy, quick setup

Litra Glow is basically a well-proposed, frameless selfie light. It’s packed Logitech’s TrueSoft technology, which claims Provide adequate lighting for everyone Skin color. It has a built-in monitor mount 4-inch vertical telescoping is available and a 2-inch horizontal extension. The light is on top of a 360-degree swivel, so you can flip it back and forth to suit your lighting needs. Or you can rotate it to remove it from the monitor mount and screw it on a tripod instead.

The Litra Glow has a 5-foot USB-C to USB-A cable to connect to your computer. This makes it accessible on some older systems, but you’ll still need USB 3.0 to get it.

If you have ever used a Logitech product, Then you know they are beautiful User-friendly. Litra Glow is as easy as plugging it in and getting it from the back If you need it you can probably buy it at the last minute and strengthen it after a few minutes for video chat. If you do not want to, you do not need to use the Logitech G Hub software, because Litra Glow’s temperature and brightness sliders are available behind the light (On either side of its power button).

If you want more customization, you can go to the Logitech G Hub software to start tweaking things. You can adjust the brightness up to 250 lumens Max You can change the color temperature of Litra Glow anywhere from 2700K to 6500K, which is considered as full-spectrum.

Logitech software offers temperature presets, which can help you navigate the various lighting situations available. You can set up your configuration as you like and save it in the app.

I’d like to take a second to warn you about the strange software split between Logitech accessories. I understand that each app is meant for a specific lineup, but whenever I look for it I look for three different Logitech icons in my Start menu. If You want to avoid being annoyed, Make sure you’re attached to devices in the Logitech for Creator lineup, or make sure they’re using GHub software.

Bright light

I currently use one Dazzne D50, Which I switched up with after several years The round never selfie light I got on Amazon. The Neewer always starts to flicker so-and-so, and it starts to get headaches from time to time. I sometimes can’t get through a live stream without lying down later.

Fortunately, I do not have these issues with Dazzne, but I am sometimes overwhelmed by how much space it takes and I have to plug in an outlet to illuminate myself on camera. Litra Glow is a low Things To handle at a moment’s notice, and it’s thin enough I can push it into a drawer when I want to recover some space.

Later Logitech sent me Litra Glow to try, I drew my blackout screen and turned off the mood lighting to see what this light could do. At maximum brightness, tIts warm light makes the result look like it happened in a vintage setting, while the white light looks almost too artificial – my face glows like a flashlight. That was the best light That’s right Between 4500K and 5000K in the middle bit, spectrum slider.

If you are already facing a window with lots of light when you are conference or recording, you may find Litra Glow unnecessary. I noticed that if it was already a sunny day, the extra light would wash me into the camera. However it can help to correct the color on a gray day, especially if you want to add some warmth to your environment.

I have one Loom Cube, Which I use for finely illuminated photos, but I’m not a fan of its user interface. Its hold-to-turn mechanism is sometimes the last thing I want to deal with when I need to take a photo and holding the temperature slider can be tedious. I like the push-button access for the color temperature and brightness of the Litra Glow.

As a result, I started using Litra Glow more often to take pictures of my Tamagotchi collection. If you find that you’re still making TikTok videos or Instagram reels to tackle the monotonous worries of epidemic life, it might be time to consider a lightweight, adjustable selfie light like the Litra Glow.
