Many ride-hailing drivers will not have to mount their phones in the near future. Google Hall Partnership Lyft and Kakao Mobility to bring their driver apps to Android Auto this summer. If you work for one of the services, you’ll receive and navigate the rides directly from your car’s touchscreen. This will not help you much if you are a passenger, of course, but it will give drivers a clearer view of the route in front.
