Sony’s slow move to make 360 reality audio mainstream has accelerated. Well, a little. Two years after the technology was unveiled at a trade show (and placed on non-Sony speakers), The company is finally ready to announce pricing and availability for one pair of speakers, Back in January after all the glasses. The SRS-RA3000 $ 300, and the more powerful SRS-RA5000 $ 700, both speakers are ready for March 29th shipping.
The company says its spatial audio technology – combined with 360 reality audio content from streaming services like Amazon Music HD – allows these speakers to beam both horizontally and vertically. Sony believes that it helps to create a soundtrack as opposed to your existing audio setup. I tested it briefly when I was there , And it’s technically impressive – even for one
The larger SRS-R5000 packs a total of seven drivers: three up-firing, three side-firing and a single subwoofer. Meanwhile, the SRS-RA3000 uses a range of speakers and a diffuser to spread the sound around the room, combining two overlapping beam twitters and a dual passive radiator. The Sony RA3000 has decided to be moisture resistant, so you can take it to the kitchen or bathroom without worrying about damp air – it’s a slightly more portable option
So far Sony has only provided 360 reality audio support on some headphone models. The total number of compatible tracks is still quite lacking, at 4,000 at the last count it started slowly for 360 reality audio and now the real work begins.

Flash storage has become so cheap and ubiquitous that it now holds data on most of our devices outside of backup systems and NAS, SSD and flash memory. Hard drive shipments topped the list in 2015 and sold less each year, but in terms of terabytes sold, hard drives are more important than ever. Chris Scott takes the future of supercharged hard drives upside down.

It’s been almost a year and a half since Dyson launched its Formaldehyde-Busting Pure Cryptomic Air Purifier, now, the company is back with an upgrade. The new Dyson purifier formaldehyde models – Hot + Cool (HP09) and Cool (TP09) – look almost identical to their predecessors and even show the same cryptomalan catalytic filters that break down formaldehyde into water and carbon dioxide.
Dyson’s latest devices are now able to specifically monitor this constantly released carcinogenic gas, such as furniture, carpets, paints and flooring. Dyson has often avoided using gel-based formaldehyde sensors on competitors’ devices that have dried up after nearly three years. Instead, the company developed a state-of-the-art formaldehyde sensor, which, like many catalyst filters, is alleged to last the lifespan of air purifiers.
Debate can be universal rather than sold.
A popular chat / communication platform with gamers and many other groups, Discord is in a sales process that could generate more than 10 billion. Bloomberg An unnamed source was quoted as saying that Microsoft may be willing to buy the chat platform.
The report did not recommend that any contracts be too close to termination and at least one source claimed that Discord was more likely to go public than sold. It can provide Microsoft with powerful tools against slack, even if the company has its own Microsoft Teams tool. It’s been almost a decade since Microsoft bought Yamar to boost enterprise social networking efforts and buy LinkedIn five years or so later. Outside of Microsoft’s usual business acquisition, it could be a smart purchase.
EVs are not all crossovers and sedans.
The Wrangler Magneto looks like the regular gas-powered Wrangler Rubicon model, but it is powered by a battery and a highly unusual electric drivetrain that can appeal to off-road enthusiasts.
E.g. In order to perform electrification work on the body of a regular Wrangler, the Jeep could not keep the electric motor directly on the axis. Rather it puts a motor (an axial flux model) under the hood to tighten an upgraded Wrangler devicestrain with a two-speed transfer case and a six-speed manual transmission.
They combine the electric motor and torque with the Wrangler’s regular Pentaster V6 engine, so it delivers about the same 285 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. However, the full torque comes much faster, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds.
