Israeli forces have killed 11 Palestinians protesting in the occupied West Bank against the occupation of Gaza and ongoing bombings.
Clashes between Israeli police and Palestinian protesters continued until Friday night in occupied East Jerusalem. Thousands of Palestinians protested in more than 200 places across the West Bank after Friday prayers.
Hundreds of Palestinians on the outskirts of Ramallah, Nablus and other cities and towns protested against the Gaza operation and Israeli action in Jerusalem.
Raising the Palestinian flag, they burned tires and hurled stones at Israeli troops. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said Israeli live rounds and tear gas had injured more than 500 Palestinians across the region.
At least 139 Palestinians, including 40 children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Monday. About 950 people were injured.
At least eight people were killed in Israel. The Israeli military says hundreds of rockets have been fired from Gaza into various Israeli locations.
