Reddit has introduced a new feature called Predictions, which can create Vote You have more fun with betting tokens. The website has been testing this feature for over a year, and now that it is widely available, community mode and mode-authorized users will be able to create predictive tournaments with a question that challenges you to predict the outcome of an event or conversation.

When you join a tournament you get 1,000 free tokens, which is as much as a moderator can ask – they can add even more after the tournament starts. When you vote for your prediction, you have to place some bets on the tokens you will receive after joining. How you distribute those tokens is entirely up to you and you will win even more on the ones you use for each accurate prediction. The bigger the token you keep, the more you can win. However, you have to finish your tokens throughout the entire tournament, and if your prediction game gets weak, there is no way to get any more. This is a completely user-driven experience, since the creators of the tournament will also be responsible for solving the results and making sure you win.

So, what do you get for accurate predictions as well as winning tokens? In most cases, recognition in the form of a leaderboard. Tokens are for predictive experience use only, so you can’t really do anything with them on the website. Reddit will launch this feature today and it will be available to all communities with at least 10,000 members.
