Withings’ Scanwatch The FDA has cleared it, paving the way for it to go on sale in the United States starting in November, the agency announced. The watches are available in regular and diver-style Horizon Versions, cleared to take together Electrocardiogram (ECG) And SPO2 (Oxygen Saturation) readings, in health and medical settings.
The original Scanwatch has been available in Europe since its release a year ago, but FDA clearance has taken much longer. Both models use ECG readings to check for atrial fibrillation (heartbeat irregularities) and you can even download the results and send them to your doctor as a PDF. If it notices an irregular heartbeat, it may suggest you have an ECG.

Sales will begin in early 2021, with the original Scanwatch 38mm model starting at 279. The Rose Gold and Horizon versions will be available in early 2022 from 29 299 and 4 499, respectively.
