A New investigation from The Guardian shows that police and other government officials are financially contributing to the legal defense of 18-year-old “Kenosha Shooter” and Kyle Reitenhaus, and Right icon Currently for trial Two deaths

According to GuardianThe data appears to include internal comments from contributors: “God bless you. Thank you for your courage. Keep your head up. Rittenhouse also apparently received contributions from other government officials – including a city official in Huntsville, Alabama, and an engineer at the U.S. National Laboratory. The report noted that in many cases contributors were “attached to official email addresses” and “raised questions about the use of public resources to support such campaigns.” It does not share how much has specifically come from government employees.

Other information reviewed by reporters showed considerable support from police for law enforcement officers – including Kenosha police officer Rusten Sheski, who shot and seriously injured 29-year-old black Jacob Black, thus shutting down local protests that unnecessarily involved himself. Rittenhouse flew into the state to A fundraiser for Shasky apparently raised several thousand dollars, most of which came from “personal email addresses related to Kenosha officials.”
