Twitter finally comes up with DM Search on Android

Finally Twitter is paying more attention to its DM search feature. About two years after the introduction of a search feature to iOS and DM on the web, the company Android update.

The feature will be an “enhanced version” of the existing search feature and will allow users to search through their entire DM history, not recent messages. The company is also working on the ability to search the content of messages rather than just the sender. That update is coming “later this year”.

These may sound like relatively minor updates, but the inability to search direct messages efficiently has long been a pain in the ass for anyone who has been using this feature heavily for months. Don’t be willing to. But with the new search bar, searching for Twitter DMs will hopefully be like any messaging app.
