Looks like the company has backed up the project ever since, because of something User Getting Survey Telling them to choose between different emoji response sets. While some feedback options are consistent with the proposed sets, Twitter is considering several options for others. For example the “great” response could be either a surprised face or a “fire” emoji. Meanwhile, social networks seem to be looking at three possibilities for consent and disapproval feedback: a combination of thumbs up and down combo, yes and no and Reddit’s upvote and downvote buttons.
The survey also includes questions that Twitter ever added, but how they would use angry and / or dislike / downvote feedback. Users can choose from a variety of preferences, including feeling uncomfortable and hesitant to use Twitter if their tweets are angry / disliked and responses are present. Response set for DMs There are thumbs up and down options, but it’s not good for users to be publicly disliked or downvoted. The final emojis may decide to use Twitter in a completely different set – if the company decides to tolerate a wide range of reactions on the platform.
