Governments encourage ‘from home’ as employees demand a better work-life balance.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, many of us have had to change the way we work for almost two years now.

Working from home is becoming the norm as people avoid overcrowded offices and transportation systems.

While this is an option for some, essential workers in the healthcare and hospitality industry do not have that choice.

Moreover, the pandemic led to what some in industrialized countries called “The Great Resignation.”

Millions of employees, dissatisfied with their jobs, have ceased to fulfill roles that provide a better work-life balance.

So will 2022 be a turning point for labor relations?
